Ambra Conway, Family Specialist Lonoke/Prairie

My name is Ambra Conway. I am a 35 year old adoptive mom. I have a wonderful son that I was gifted a chance to adopt through private adoption. He is the main reason I push myself daily to try to help the world be a better place. I am a 2011 graduate of Henderson State University (Go Reddies). During my time there I majored in Human Services. After graduating I started working for DCFS. During the 12 and half years with DCFS I worked as a program assistant and a family service worker. Before departing from DCFS I worked as Family Service Worker Specialist specializing in resource homes. There is where I found my true passion working with foster and adoptive homes. I am so honored and grateful to continue on that path with The Answer Foster Care. I am looking forward on walking beside these families whom have decided to answer God’s calling and serve the vulnerable, neglected children in Arkansas. I understand that the journey will not be easy due to the traumatic experiences these children have encountered but I take pride in praying for them and walking alongside them during their journey with each child that will enter their home.

Laura Begley, BSW, Family Specialist

Laura Begley has a professional background in working with teens and a huge passion for kids of all ages and adoption/fostering. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is currently working towards her Master’s at Walden University. In her spare time she enjoys riding horses, reading, camping and watching her son rodeo and play football. Laura is very excited to come alongside these children and families and show them God’s love as they navigate these difficult waters.

Katisha King – Family Specialist Garland/ Hot Spring Counties

Katisha is a Licensed Social Worker who graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's in social work from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She has worked with different vulnerable populations, but children and families have always been close to her heart. I also had the opportunity to work at Mid-South as a Foster Parent Trainer. As a foster parent trainer, I enjoyed teaching the curriculum, discussing how rewarding it is to be a foster parent, and having realistic conversations and problem-solving challenges that foster parents encounter on their journey.

She looks forward to walking with our foster parents on this journey and supporting them. Katisha has four semesters left on her Master's in social work at the University of Little Rock!

She is married and has two teenage sons.
